Garden Lighting
Garden lighting can be seen as an extra when building a garden, and if this is something you are interested in then it’s worth thinking about in design stages.
Garden lighting can be used in many ways
for example lighting up the approach to
your home which can be very inviting to
your guests. It can also gain extra hours of
time out in your garden in the nice summer evenings, as well as creating subtle moods and highlights throughout your garden.
The choice of lighting can be very over
whelming, but like an area of design
simplicity is all it needs.
One of the most important things to remember when in the design process is whether you really want lighting because in some cases it is very hard to get power to things that needs light, like water features or sheds once the garden has been constructed.
It is worthwhile getting supplies to areas of the garden were needed even if you haven’t planned for lighting at this stage, as it is easy to run cables before paving or creating other surfaces. This will save money, time and hard work in the future.
