We believe that a good garden design is an essential ingredient to achieving your dream garden. As well as adding value to your home a well designed garden will provide an attractive and practical additional living space.
Using a Garden Designer will help you to focus your ideas and the possibilities of your garden to ensure a unified overall design that considers your wishes, necessities and tastes along with the constraints of your garden and your budget, whilst helping you to avoid haphazard, rash and costly mistakes.
We are pleased to offer bespoke, professional Garden Design services from Royal Horticultural Society award winning Garden Designer Jill Blackwood who we have worked with for many years to create stunning gardens for clients throughout Wiltshire and beyond.
We offer two levels of professional design service which are outlined below:
The Complete Design Service
- An initial consultation with Jill will include presenting her portfolio and carrying out an indepth questionnaire and a full site survey to understand requirements.
- A further consultation will be arranged with Jill to discuss the sketch ideas for your garden, and suggestions for materials and a suitable plant list. At this stage changes and adjustments to the plans can be made.
- A site visit with a professional member of the contruction team will then be arranged before moving onto the final plan stage.
- At the final consultation Jill will present you with a copy of the sketched ideas, the final plan, and a detailed scaled plan for your garden which includes an illustration of the plants and an informative plant list detailing plant locations, how big the plants will grow and their season and colour. You will also receive a full estimate for the work to complete your dream garden.

The Budget Design
- An initial consultation with Jill will include presenting her portfolio and carry out an indepth questionnaire and a full site survey.
- A site visit will be arranged with a professional member of the contruction team to prepare an estimate.
- A final consultation with Jill will present you with a copy of an outline scale plan for your garden and a suggested plant list.You will also receive a full estimate for the work to complete your dream garden.

Plant Plan Service
If you have already carried out building work or simply want some advice on planting your existing garden, a plant plan by Jill will provide the information you need to ensure colour and interest throughout the seasons in your garden. This service includes:
- An initial consultation with Jill will include presenting her portfolio and carry out an indepth questionnaire and a site survey to define areas to be planted.
- A further consultation with Jill, will present you with a copy of a detailed plant plan for your garden. You will also receive a full estimate for supplying and/or planting the plants.
