Decking
Decking is relatively easy to construct in terms of a patio; decks can be very good at covering up unsightly paved and concrete areas depending on levels adjoining the house.
Decking requires good ventilation below the surface. To be able to achieve this, the boards need to be laid on framework of bearers or joist to allow circulation of air and drainage in wet weather.
Decking boards can be laid to different patterns depending on your preferences and the design of the garden. It creates a great surface on sloping gardens as decks can be carried over a change of level and link to another higher or lower.
